Maybe you have made mistake during connection. Just follow the steps to connect your phone to the Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum cleaner:

Step 1. Connect your cell phone to WIFI (instead of the 5G network). Open the WLAN icon, the WIFI will appear after a while, click the name to connect your phone to the wireless network.

Step 2. Log in Mi Home app with your Xiaomi account / phone number / email. If your Mi Home is not the latest version, please update it to the newest.
Step 3. After login, power on the Xiaomi cleaner and be sure its blue light is flashing.
Then add your vacuum cleaner to Mi Home: click 'My device' - '+' icon at the top right corner - 'Mi robot vacuum cleaner' - 'Blue indicator is flashing' - 'Next'.
Step 4. Enter your WIFI name and password, click 'Next'. You should ensure that the WIFI password is correct, or else the connection will fail.
Step 5. Connect your phone to the Xiaomi robot cleaner. Go to Settings - WLAN, choose the name of your vacuum cleaner 'rockrobo-vacuum-xxx' and there is a tick before the name. After that, back to Mi Home app, the phone begin to connect to the cleaner.
Step 6. It will notify you to change a name for your Xiaomi device and start to use it. After tapping 'Experience', the app starts to download plug-in components for Xiaomi vacuum cleaner.
Step 7. Click 'Experience now' ('立即体验') to the main interface, then click 'Agree and continue'. Finally, the connection is completed and you can use the Xiaomi robot cleaner right now.
If you follow the steps but still fail to connect the Xiaomi cleaner, change another mobile phone and download the newest Mi Home to try again. If it still not work, maybe the robot cleaner has something wrong.
Lift the upper cover of your Xiaomi robot cleaner, hold the 'Reset' hole to reset its system.
If the reset doesn't work, turn off the device to check what's matter:
● Leave your Xiaomi robot cleaner on the flat ground, pull it forward and backward to check the main wheels. If the wheels don't work, just fix them or change new wheels.
● Rotate the main brush manually to check if it works properly. If it doesn't work, find the reason and fix it, or else change a new rolling brush for your Xiaomi cleaner.
● Connect the cleaner to Mi Home to update its firmware. If the update doesn't help, contact your seller for further help.
Check if the LDS on Xiaomi vacuum cleaner is covered by a curtain or other things. If yes, remove those things to let the laser distance sensor works normally.
If the laser sensor doesn't rotate after the cleaner booting up, you could rotate it by hand to make it works.
Remove its case to check if the LDS is stuck by something or the connection cable is loose. If yes, remove the stuck things or solder the cable in a fixing store.
For Android system: open the Mi Home application, go to 'Profile' ('我的') - 'Settings' ('设置')- 'Language' ('语言'), select 'English'.
For iOS system: set your device's language as English, then download latest Mi Home app, the language of your app will become English.
There is sand in the wheels' vertical axis, which causes the device has noise while using. Please maintain the device according to the product guide in Mi Home app - clean the wheel and its axis.
