Vikas Gupta started college and left in between to pursue a career in film making and writing. He moved to Mumbai and started a job as a writer for Bhimsain Khurana who is a noted director of Bollywood film Gharaonda.
Vikas also got a job as a trainee at Balaji Telefilms at the age of 17 however he got fired within 4 days of joining. Next, he started working under known television director Deeya Singh. Vikas received positive comments for his work.
